Partners

	Dr. Jon Dee - D.V.M., M.S., Auburn University, 1966, D.V.M, M.S, A.C.V.S - Partner Diplomat of American College of Veterinary Surgeons Internship – Washington state Masters in Surgery – Colorado State Dr Jon has a special interest in Orthopedic Surgery, Sports medicine and Radiology. Jon has lectured on Veterinary Orthopedic medicine nationally and Internationally…from Japan to South Africa. He is co-editor of the textbook “Canine Sports Medicine and Surgery" and is an adjunct assistant professor at the Ohio state University and the University of Florida. On a more personal level Jon enjoys fly fishing and world travel.
	Dr. Larry Dee - D.V.M., Auburn University,1969, AB.,D.V.M - Partner Diplomate of American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. Certified Canine and Feline Practice. Special interests include internal medicine, orthopedics, endoscopy and soft tissue surgery. Larry has been a representative to the American Board of Veterinary Specialties for nine years. He has also been the past president of several integral veterinary boards which include the following: Charter Diplomat of The American Board of Veterinary Practicioners, Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA), American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), World Small Animal Veterinary Association, Florida Animal Friend, Inc, (non-profit spay/neuter license plate organization). Larry has been a Delegate to the American Veterinary Medical Association House of Delegates for 15 years and a Chairman of both the Broward County Pet Overpopulation Focus Group and the Broward County Animal Care and Regulation Advisory Committee for the last 12 years. Larry has been honored as both the FVMA and the AAHA Practitioner of the Year on different occasions and was a Commencement speaker at the University of Florida, CVM. On a more personal level Larry enjoys taking part in many organized veterinary medicine groups. He is on the Board of Directors and a member of the Hollywood Rotary Club, animal welfare, golfing and world travel.
	Dr. James Dee - D.V.M., Auburn University,1972,D.V.M. - Partner Special interests include veterinary practice management, Ear trim surgeries; including adult Augmentative surgery. Dr. James is an HAH Intern program co-director along with Dr. Sessa and Dr. Herrington. James enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family, especially his grandchildren, secondly are his dogs and fishing.
	Dr. Jim Herrington - D.V.M., University of Florida,1988,D.V.M., ABVP - Partner Diplomate of American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. Broward County Veterinary Medical Association. Certified Canine and Feline Practice. Special interests include internal medicine, dentistry, South Florida Police Canine Officer Care. HAH Intern program co-director. Jim enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, taking part assisting in his sons baseball team and riding horses with his daughter. .
	Dr. Tom Sessa - D.V.M., University of Florida,1989, D.V.M., ABVP - Partner Certified Canine and Feline Practice. Diplomate of American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. Special interests include internal medicine, cancer therapy and surgery (oncology), rectal and urogenital surgery. HAH Intern program co-director. Tom enjoys spending time with his wife and the most recent addition to his family, his son Nicholas.

	Dr. Anne Murphy, D.V.M.,Ohio State University, 1990, ABVP, Diplomate of American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. Internship – Hollywood Animal Hospital Special interests include Ultrasonography, Echocardiography, General Practice, Internal medicine and Soft Tissue Surgery. Anne enjoys spending time golfing with her husband and watching her favorite team The Ohio State Buckeyes play football.
	Dr. Sarah Evans, D.V.M., A.C.V.S, Auburn University, 2001 Diplomate of The American College of Veterinary Surgeons Internship – University of Tennessee Small Animal Rotating Internship Surgical Internship – Hollywood Animal Hospital Surgical Residency - Animal Medical Center New York, New York Special Interests include Orthopedic & Soft Tissue surgery. Sarah enjoys the work she does outside of HAH with Greyhounds.
	Dr. Alicia Grasso, D.V.M., U.of Fla., 2007 Member of The American Veterinary Medical Association Internship – Hollywood Animal Hospital Special Interests include General Practice, Internal Medicine and Soft Tissue Surgery. Alicia enjoys traveling, exercising and training her beagles in her free time.
	Dr. Ann Romano, D.V.M., Cornell, 2007 Member of The American Veterinary Medical Association Internship – Hollywood Animal Hospital Special Interests include General Practice, Internal Medicine and Soft Tissue Surgery. Ann enjoys embroidering and other crafts, swimming and reading in her free time.
	Dr. David Shapiro, D.V.M., U. of Illinois, 2007 Member of The American Veterinary Medical Association Internship – Hollywood Animal Hospital Special Interests include General Practice, Internal Medicine and Soft Tissue Surgery. David enjoys kayaking, playing tennis, watching sports and walking his dog in his free time.
	Dr. Robyn Baldwin, D.V.M., University of California, 1993 Member of The American Veterinary Medical Association Internship - Sacramento Animal Hospital Medical Group Special Interests include General Practice, Dermatology and Pain Management. Robyn enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.
	Derek Wineburgh, D.V.M., Ross University, 2008 Member of The American Veterinary Medical Association Internship – Hollywood Animal Hospital Special Interests include General Practice, Internal Medicine and Soft Tissue Surgery. Derek enjoys spending his free time at the beach in the waves or on the golf course. He also enjoys traveling with his Shih Tzu Tina Cita.
	Diane Zapata, D.V.M., U. of Antioquia, 1996 Member of The American Veterinary Medical Association Internship – Hollywood Animal Hospital Zootechnic Degree - The National University of Columbia. Special Interests include Emergency and Critical Care, General Practice and Internal Medicine. Diane enjoys music, Spanish dancing, bicycling and spending time with her four cats in her free time.
	Carla Ezell, D.V.M., Ross University, 2006 Member of The American Veterinary Medical Association Internship – Louisiana Veterinary Referral Center Surgical Internship – Hollywood Animal Hospital Special Interests include General Practice, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic & Soft Tissue surgery. Carla enjoys traveling, visiting family, being outdoors with her dogs and exercising in her free time.
	Dr. Crispin Spencer, D.V.M, American College of Veterinary Radiologists Dr Spencer is invaluable in his aid in analyzing radiographs taken at Hollywood Animal Hospital. He along with Dr Sally Mitchell and other radiologists review the majority of our films contributing to the diagnosis and care of many of our patients.
